Buyer FAQ

Common questions

What do I get when I buy a cut-file package?

Every package is an instant download with ready-to-cut DXF files, a STEP 3D model, the editable native Autodesk Inventor source, dimensioned engineering prints, and an illustrated build plan.

What software opens these files?

The DXF cut files run on any plasma, laser, or waterjet CAM software. The STEP model opens in Fusion 360, SolidWorks, Onshape and more, and the native source opens in Autodesk Inventor.

Can I build and sell parts from these files?

Yes. Each purchase is a single-shop license: cut and build for your own personal or commercial use. The files themselves may not be resold, shared, or redistributed.

I don't have a CNC — can I still build one?

Yes. Ask about a weld-together kit: we cut and nest the steel, add the hardware and a printed build plan, and ship it flat-pack or local pickup so you just tack and weld.

Do you ship anything with a digital order?

No. Cut-file orders are digital download only — nothing ships. Physical steel only ships with a weld-together kit order.
